Digital Transformation of Management and Strategy

A London event, on 9 November 2016

27 April 2017

We are delighted to welcome Peter Zemsky, Professor of Strategy and Deputy Dean at INSEAD, who will share his insights and experience on the digital transformation of management and strategy in conversation with Clifford Chance's Global Head of Client Service Solutions, Oliver Campbell.

More and more traditional industries are facing the prospect of disruption by digital technologies and business models. While change is far from linear and deterministic, the underlying forces driving digital transformation are strong: almost free computing power and storage conveniently packaged in the cloud and easily accessed via ubiquitous smart phones and high speed networks. It is not surprising that digital has come to dominate the discussions of global business and societal leaders.

How can organisations adapt and thrive in this age of digital disruption and constant change? What are the implications for strategy and management?

Topics for discussion include: the digital industrial revolution, the imperative for strategic agility, the Silicon Valley playbook and the shift in management practice as software becomes ever more central to value creation, and the digital disruption of management education.

Professor Zemsky will draw on both his two decades of work as a professor of strategy focused on how companies can respond to industry evolution, and his personal experience successfully driving digital innovation in management education.

Please contact Tarrah Toth for further information or if you would like to attend.
